Cushla competes in Canicross with her dogs and has won a Bronze Medal at the European Canicross Championships 2015, gold in the British National Championships 2016 and a Silver Medal for the 2017/2018 season.
She is the President of the British Sleddog Sports Federation and has been selected to represent Great Britain at the World Canicross Championships 2018.
She has been training dogs professionally for over 13 years and is a senior Galen Myotherapist offering treatments and tuition on the Galen training course.
Verity is a Sport Science graduate specialising in functional biomechanics of running and gait re-education. Her passion is for identifying and correcting dysfunctional movement patterns that can cause overuse injuries or impaired efficiency in runners.
She has worked in the running industry for over 10 years and has coached recreational and elite athletes to improve their performance and minimise injury risk.
Verity has been training Cushla for the last year helping her to get back to running post injury and developing her speed.
