Learn the skills and techniques to improve your canicross performance.
Cushla and Verity will give you the in-depth knowledge to help you and your dog avoid common injuries, develop speed and transform your approach to canicross.
The course includes:
Analysis of your individual running style
Assessment of your dog's gait
Tools to improve your running biomechanics
Techniques and exercises to minimise injury risk for you and your dog
Drills to improve your speed and performance for you and your dog
The course is limited to 8 places to ensure individual attention.
The course is both theory and practical based so please bring appropriate clothing and equipment to canicross in.
Time: 9:30am for 10am start until 4pm
Half day course
The course is a follow on from the Canicross Clinic, focusing on speed development and techniques for running up and downhill.
The course includes:
Uphill and downhill running technique for you and your dog
Techniques and exercises to increase your cadence
Drills to improve speed and performance for you and your dog
6 week speed and performance training plan
The course is limited to 10 places to ensure individual attention.
The course will be held outdoors and is all practical based so please bring appropriate clothing and equipment to canicross in.

Cushla competes in Canicross with her dogs and has won a Bronze Medal at the European Canicross Championships 2015, gold in the British National Championships 2016 and a Silver Medal for the 2017/2018 season.
She is the President of the British Sleddog Sports Federation and has been selected to represent Great Britain at the World Canicross Championships 2018.
She has been training dogs professionally for over 13 years and is a senior Galen Myotherapist offering treatments and tuition on the Galen training course.
Verity is a Sport Science graduate specialising in functional biomechanics of running and gait re-education. Her passion is for identifying and correcting dysfunctional movement patterns that can cause overuse injuries or impaired efficiency in runners. She has worked in the running industry for over 10 years and has coached recreational and elite athletes to improve their performance and minimise injury risk.
Verity has been training Cushla for the last year helping her to get back to running post injury and developing her speed.

You can cancel the course booking within 8 calendar days of the course start date, you are entitled to a full refund of the price paid. No refund is payable for a cancellation made within the 7 days immediately prior to the training course.
